Ansiedad estado – rasgo, y su impacto en personas en situación de confinamiento por covid - 19

Resumen

El confinamiento trae consigo un impacto psicológico, la ansiedad estado – rasgo, y es necesario determinar si se debe específicamente a éste o si viene como un rasgo específico. La presente investigación es de carácter descriptivo, no experimental, de corte transversal y con enfoque cuantitativo donde se exploran los factores sociodemográficos, las variables de confinamiento, y la aplicación del instrumento en población extranjera mediante el instrumento validado de ansiedad estado-rasgo, STAI, en versión española. Se estima una muestra de 269 sujetos de acuerdo a la fórmula de establecimiento de tamaños muestrales para poblaciones finitas. La población será de países iberoamericanos como Brasil, Argentina, Chile, España, Uruguay, Colombia, Panamá, USA, Puerto Rico, Suecia, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, México, Cuba, Italia, Jamaica, Republica Dominicana, Venezuela y Bolivia, en adultos y adultos mayores en edades entre 18 y 87 años. Para los análisis estadísticos se utilizó el programa Infostat; donde los resultados arrojaron que hubo la presencia de mayor ansiedad en personas no confinadas, de igual forma el número síntomas físicos y ansiedad - estado presentan una correlación estadísticamente significativa. Así mismo no hay diferencia entre el género masculino y femenino, lo cual es interesante ya que frente a los estudios encontrados, refieren que las mujeres presentan mayor ansiedad. El inventario aplicado en su consistencia interna es superior en su (Alfa de Cronbach = 0.8), reflejando confiabilidad y validez. Por lo tanto, se concluye que la ansiedad que la persona atraviesa, es mayor por la situación de confinamiento.
